Texan born model Jerry Hall, is one of five sisters, including her twin Terry. She left home to move to New York to try to become a model, but it was actually while she was staying in St Tropez in France that she was spotted by a fashion agent. She became one of the supermodels of the 1970s and 1980s, and was on the cover of Roxy Music's album Siren as well as gracing the covers of fashion magazines such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She has four children with Rolling Stone lead singer Mick Jagger, although the couple are no longer together. More recently, she has become a stage actor, and has appeared on the West End stage in High Society.

Jerry danced in the tenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, dancing with Anton Du Beke. For her first dance, the cha cha cha, Anton took inspiration from Jerry's modelling career, using a catwalk to open and lots of posing during the routine, and the judges were unimpressed by the lack of content, leaving Jerry in 11th position out of 14. She then danced the foxtrot and for someone so tall and elegant, she wasn't able to master the hold and it looked as though she was clinging onto Anton instead of dancing with him. A slight improvement by the time she came to quickstep in her third dance, but not enough to win over the public, and she finished the competition in 13th place.
