Ore took part in Series 14 and danced with Joanne Clifton, who was back for a second year of competition. A promising start with mid-table placing on the leaderboard at the end of week 2, but Musicals week bought out the best in Joanne's choreography and Ore's performance, and the fabulous Singin' In The Rain inspired American Smooth shows a massive improvement, and put Ore strongly in with the contenders.  His week 4 jive, however, saw them soar to the top of the leaderboard with an incredible 39 points for their routine, and was followed up with another leaderboard topping dance the following week with a lovely waltz.  A little bit of a dip followed, including a bottom two place in week 7, and it was an uneven road to the semi-final, but a change of fortune was about to happen.  A fabulous quickstep followed by a sensational Argentine tango, scored 38 and 39 respectively, saw them jump back up to the top of the leaderboard, and saw them safely through to the final.  Everything seemed to come together in the final, with an almost perfect American Smooth, then a showstopping show dance scoring four 10s finishing off with an improved jive which also scored four 10s - only the second jive to score the perfect 40.  Dropping only one point over three dances, they topped the leaderboard, but it was irrelevant as only the public vote counts in the final, but the public agreed and Ore & Joanne were crowned series champions of series 14.
