PAMELA STEPHENSON
Comedienne and Psychologist
Pamela started her career on the stage working with the Sydney Theatre Company before moving to the UK in 1976. She shot to fame as part of the irreverent Not The Nine O'Clock News and looked to the US to progress her career, including featuring on Saturday Night Live, as well as moving back into acting roles in films including Superman III. In the 1990s, Pamela re-evaluated her career and decided to make a huge change, studying for a doctorate in psychology, which lead to her best selling book, a biography of her husband, comedian Billy Connolly.
Pamela will be dancing in the eighth series of Strictly Come Dancing, and her professional dance partner is James Jordan taking part in his fifth series of Strictly.

What The Judges Said
Week 2 - Salsa
| Len: | Well what impressed me was the confidence that you came out onto this floor with, and the diversity of styles that you've had to cope with. Last week the waltz, all grace and elegance, salsa tonight, all feisty and hot, and you've coped brilliantly with both of them. Well done. |
| Alesha: | I absolutely love you, Pamela, your body just moves effortlessly and that had everything I expect from a salsa. It was sexy, it was controlled throughout, and you know what? I think that was the best of the night and you're a force to be reckoned with. |
| Bruno: | Pamela, the stumble apart, you are the only person tonight that managed to convey the correct balance of rhythm and fluidity in the salsa. Nobody else did it, either they go staccato or they get tangled in the arm movements. You kept it fluid all the way through. Yes, there was a stumble but for me, it was the best salsa of the night. |
Week 1 - Waltz
| Alesha: | Breathtaking, Pamela, absolutely breathtaking. You have such a gorgeous energy about you, you danced that beautifully. James, you've pulled it out of the bag again, it was wonderful. It really was beautiful. |
| Bruno: | Graceful. Fluid. Your arm placements for week one - I don't think I've ever seen anyone doing it so well. Truly radiant performance. You still got it, Pamela. |
| Craig: | Dreamy, romantic, absolutely delicious. Not perfect, but. |
| Len: | Well, Pamela, you can't win Strictly Come Dancing in week one. What you can do is make a fantastic impression on everyone, and that's what you did there. Well done. |
