Want to know some statistics about Strictly Grand Finals?

There have been 64 competitive dances (both individual couples routines and group dances) in grand finals in the first nine series of Strictly, plus an additional 13 show dances that didn't get marked. Those dances are made up of:

  • 24 ballroom routines
  • 20 latin routines
  • 10 speciality routines
  • 23 show dance routines

The total number of 10s awarded by the judges is a whopping 107, with 11 routines scoring a perfect score of 40 (or 50 in series seven when there were five judges in the final).

The lowest score ever recorded in a final was back in series one, when Chris Parker scored just 17 points for his jive.

Here's the average scores awarded by each of the judges in finals:

  • Craig = 8.7
  • Arlene = 8.6
  • Darcey = 9.3
  • Len = 9.2

Week 10 Updates (SPOILER FREE)

Another new dance style for Strictly this week, with all couples performing a fusion of two dances, and because the routines are combinations of two styles, have been included in the Speciality category for statistics, and are not included on the pages for individual dances. As usual the site is spoiler free and I've updated all the site pages with the results from Week 10:
