COMEDIAN, WRITER and PRESENTER
After studying law at the University of Glasgow and leaving with a Judge Brennan scholarship, former lawyer Susan once worked with serial killers on death row in North Carolina before settling in the world of corporate law.
All the while Susan spent her evenings polishing up her stand-up routines, before finally waving goodbye to the lawyer life at the age of 30. Her comedy career quickly went from strength to strength, reaching the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards and So You Think You’re Funny in 2006, as well as landing a final spot in the prestigious Funny Women competition in the same year.
Susan has also written and performed in the Radio 4 sitcom, Sisters, written a memoir about depression and mental health, and is the host of two quizzes on BBC, The Boss is a daytime BBC One quiz and Top Class for younger viewers on CBBC.
