What The Judges Said

Week 2 - Foxtrot

Bruno:Oh my darling, you really look like a little princess out there tonight. At the beginning though, watch it, because in the first half you were trying so hard to get your frame right, you looked like you had a neck brace on, you know. You relaxed on the second half and it was so much better, so it shows us you can do it. That's what you have to work on, ease it in, cause you've got it.
Craig:Your timing got out just a little bit before the first double heel turn at the beginning and then it got out and you were both out of time together as you were backing up as well. Focal point, I thought, in hold was too high, you need to reduce that slightly. But there is lots to like about that whole routine and your dancing, you know, the underarm turns were fantastic, also the end spin, very good.
Len:Well as a performance I thought it was very good, and all that section in the middle when you were apart - lovely jubbly. The spins were excellent, it's when you were in hold, it just lacked a bit of movement around the floor. So, work on, when you're in the ballroom dances, just work on your frame and posture, but very good and I enjoyed it. Well done.

Week 1 - Cha Cha Cha

Len:Well, I liked it, it lost energy in places, and Jared, I think you could produce a slightly stronger routine, because I think this girl's got a lot of talent, and I think you should push her a little bit more. But good job, well done.
Alesha:Yeah Tina, you're as cute as a button. You came out and performed it, but I do tend to agree with Len, it didn't blow me away as much as I would have wanted it to, but you are full of potential. Chin up - next week.
Bruno:Tina, the concept, the baby doll, Lolita really worked very, very well. You went wrong so many times. That's what stopped you performing. If you go wrong, don't stop. Carry on, assume the character, keep going. (Alesha: she did carry on). Yeah, but she didn't do it very well.
Craig:Yeah, it was a real shame actually. Timing and rhythm, I thought, were very good. Leg and hip actions were all there, but too much strutting around really, pointlessly. It was a little bit uneventful, so next time, it needs to be out there, because you are a fantastic dancer and you're just not being shown enough.
