Presenter and Actor

Kelly studied at the famous Italia Conti stage school before beginning her career in the modelling industry, with top assignments and including the very successful advertising campaign with the "Bravissimo" lingerie company. Kelly presenting career blossomed when invited to take over from Denise Van Outen as the co-presenter of "The Big Breakfast" with Johnny Vaughan. Alongside her presenting work, Kelly's acting career has taken off, with a starring role in the film "School For Seduction", and lead roles opposite Dennis Hopper in "House of 9", Christopher Lambert in "Absolon" and ex-fiance Billy Zane in "Three".

Before she'd danced a single step in series five of Strictly Come Dancing, Kelly was one of the bookies favourites to win with previous Strictly champion Brendan Cole as her dance partner. Their first competitive dance came in week two, with a beautiful Rumba, which earned them 33 points and great comments from the judges, including a 9 from Arlene. An excellent Tango followed in week three (spoiled only by Brendan making a mistake). A wonderful American Smooth from the pair in week four. but controversy is never far from Brendan, and although the rules allow two lifts in the dance, Brendan had included three and the judges were scathing of his choices. The controversy didn't end there, with Bruno caught up in the performance and spectacle of the dance awarding them a 10 for the routine. Their next dance was the Paso Doble, and Kelly was determined to be the first female celebrity to work with the cape, and the judges felt that she had devoted too much effort into learning the technique for the cape work and not enough to the dance itself, and they awarded only 28 points. Back on top form for the next couple of weeks with a beautiful Viennese Waltz and an energetic, fast, fun Jive. Throughout the next weeks training, there were reports of a lack of available training hours and their Samba was again criticised, but when it was announced Kelly's father has passed away during the next week and that she had been keeping this personal story away from the production team, it became obvious why she had been struggling to keep up with the demands of the competition. Although hoping to be able to continue with Strictly in memory of her father, understandably Kelly found she couldn't carry on and retired from the programme.

Kelly was invited back to Strictly to compete in the 2008 Christmas Special, but as Brendan was dancing with his current celebrity partner, Kelly had the opportunity to partner the newest professional, Brian Fortuna. They danced a Jive and received the joint highest score of the night, scoring 39 points including a 10 from Craig.
