Actress Sarah started her career on the BBC daytime drama "Doctors" but is probably best known for her role as Bex in the BBC drama serial "Casualty".

Sarah was partnered with returning Strictly champion professional dancer Brendan Cole in the second series of Strictly Come Dancing. They had a good start to the series with a Waltz which Bruno thought was fantastic, and the judges gave them a total of 28 marks, but the next weeks Rumba didn't fare so well with strong criticism from Craig and Bruno thought it was stiff and icy and their score dropped to 23 points. Their best week was their Tango in week three, but week four saw Brendan make the mistake of choreographing a dance about him and not Sarah, and their Paso Doble lacked basic paso steps, and Len felt it was too theatrical and they only scored 29 points. There were strained relations in training footage for their week five Samba, and the performance from Sarah wasn't her best, and Len thought her heart wasn't in it, while Craig thought it was colourless and her balance wasn't good, and scoring only 23, found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard and voted off by the public. They finished sixth out of ten couples.
